Eastarn Visayas State University – Burauen Campus in partnership with Department of Information and Communication Technology launches the EVSU-Burauen Tech4Ed Training Center on November 18, 2019.

Mrs. Hazel D. Martinez, Tech4Ed Coordinator of DICT Region VIII formally launched the Tech4Ed Center, and a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony  to properly turnover the center together with our IT Department Head, Mr. Christopher P. Raga as a Center Manager located at Learning Resource Center and Speech Laboratory.

Tech4Ed stands for Technology for Education, to gain Employment, train Entrepreneurs towards Economic Development.

It is a project of the DICT Office that aims to harness ICT to enable, empower and transform society creating an inclusive, integrated and equitable countryside, through providing opportunities for employment and empowering entrepreneurs. Its mission is simple – To harness the power of ICT in society towards creating a progressive countryside in 42,000 Tech4Ed centers nationwide.
