𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The Eastern Visayas State University – Burauen Campus (EVSU-BC) officially opens the first day of its four-day celebration for its 50th Founding Anniversary with a sports festival at the EVSU-BC grounds today, October 27. The morning activities feature the lighting of the sports torch, a Taekwondo exhibition “Ancient Warrior” by the Hospitality Management Department led by Prof. Leslie Tilaon, and a banner-raising ceremony participated in by the different departments of the campus. In his opening remarks, Campus Director Dr. Erwin Ripalda underscores the essence of being a true EVSUnista, stating, “Today marks the beginning of a celebration not only of strength and skill but also of camaraderie, determination, and the true spirit of sportsmanship that defines the EVSU family.” The celebration continues this afternoon with a ground demonstration, showcasing the talents, creativity, and unity of the participating departments.
