The celebration was organized by the office of the Supreme Student Government (SSG), held at the EVSU-BC grounds, and commenced with an opening message from the head of the Students Affair and Services Office (SASO), Dr. Edna P. Modina.
Dr. Modina highlighted in her message the importance of looking into the differences of culture and diverse backgrounds of our rich history as not a hindrance to achieving solidarity, in lieu an avenue of respect, and love, contributing to understanding the unique nature of our very own culture that concatenates the rich qualities of each cultural background to a one beautiful product of cultural fragments.
Meanwhile, the campus director, Dr. Renato E. Martija, delivered his inspirational message, where he emphasized the significance of self-growth through achieving academic purpose with the cultivation of respect, and positive relationships from good companionship.
Moreover, the activity’s purpose was to celebrate two momentous events: to acknowledge the pillars of the student body through an induction ceremony, and to acquaint students across the campus with the Students Night.
Furthermore, despite the rain, the event jovially continued to achieve its goal for the students to unwind, dance, have a great time in socialization, and induct the officers from class, the council of leaders, and the mother organization, SSG.
The event carried on with a dazzling black and white party with dance and song presentations, raffle, and the awarding of the Head Turner and Face of the Night award, and hailing the Star of the Night.
The program concluded with a dance for all.
