ICYMI | Japanese visitors from the Advanced Institute for Industrial Technology (AIIT) along with the Director for Internationalization for Higher Education Prof. Faustito Aure, paid a courtesy call visit to Eastern Visayas State University Burauen Campus as part of the activity on their visit to the Philippines.
The said team headed by Prof. Mitsuhiro Maeda is composed of four other members namely: Mr. Eisuke Tachikawa, Ms. Miku Nomura, Mr. Seiji Suzuki, and Mr. Masashi Nakagawa. The AIIT team also paid a courtesy call visit to the municipality of Burauen and discussed some important matters on proposals for climate change awareness they are looking for forests and had seen Burauen with such potential for natural resources.
After which, the municipal tourism office of Burauen headed by Ms. Carmela Corazon Crebillo went with the EVSU team and Japanese visitors to Mahagnao Forest and went to see the oldest-century Tangile tree which has kept the environment preserved.
The activity concluded with the awarding of tokens and certificates of appreciation to the Japanese visitors which Dr. Martija emphasized in his closing remarks of the heartfelt gratitude for the said visit which embarks a new start of ideas and future plans for EVSU BC.
