𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: Eastern Visayas State University–Burauen Campus (EVSU-BC) holds its 50th Alumni Homecoming in celebration of the institution’s 50th Founding Anniversary, October 27. Carrying the theme “50th Golden Harvest of Inclusivity and Empowerment Towards One EVSU 2.0,” the event gathers alumni, faculty, and staff for a day of camaraderie, recognition, and celebration. Words of felicitation from Prof. Daisy T. Pedere, Education Department Head highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in education. “As we celebrate this 50th Founding Anniversary, we honor the rich history and legacy carried by our institution under its former name that shaped the foundation of who we are today. Let this moments inspire and strengthen us; as we move forward together on the journey toward One EVSU 2.0,” she emphasizes. Meanwhile, Alumni Faculty Coordinator Prof. Artemio P. Caspe Jr. expressed his gratitude and encourages the alumni for their unwavering support within the campus. “As we conduct friendships, celebrate our journey and strengthen our bond as one EVSU family, it reminds us of the values instilled in us to excellency, service, and unity,” he says. The event featured games and friendly competitions uniting alumni, faculty, and staff, followed by the election of new officers. Moreover, Mr. and Ms. Alumni Homecoming 2025, awards Dr. Renato Namia Sr. and Prof. Norma Elmido, as alumni from previous batches look forward to next year’s gathering on its 51st celebration.
