𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The spotlight ignited with excitement as the Search for the Buraburon Festival Queen 2025 unfolded at the Burauen Sports Complex on December 4.

This year’s competition highlighted not only grace and performance, but the deep cultural connection each sitio holds to its roots. Through vibrant costumes, striking rituals, and dynamic choreography, the stage transformed into a living tapestry of history, tradition, and community identity. Each queen stood as the voice and soul of her people.

Five representatives competed for the crown, each bringing her sitio’s narrative to the forefront:

• GLAIZA A. SARDINAS – Sitio Mag-uruma

• ANGELA MAE SAYAM – Sitio Sulog

• APPLE LOUIE JANE E. NARCA – Sitio Iraya

• AYAH SHANNEL SABALLA GO – Sitio Bayog

• KEYCE P. ABIAD – Sitio Laguiwan

As the competition intensified, special awards were announced:

BEST IN FESTIVAL COSTUME – Sitio Laguiwan

BEST FESTIVAL RITUAL PRESENTATION – Sitio Laguiwan

MISS FESTIVAL ELOQUENCE – Sitio Bayog

Following the performances and judging, the final results were declared:

4th Runner-Up – Sitio Mag-uruma (Glaiza A. Sardinas)

3rd Runner-Up – Sitio Sulog (Angela Mae Sayam)

2nd Runner-Up – Sitio Iraya (Apple Louie Jane E. Narca)

1st Runner-Up – Sitio Bayog (Ayah Shannel Saballa Go)
