Embracing the power of every woman in the society, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Eastern Visayas State University-Burauen Campus (EVSU-BC) conduct a kick-off program to mark the beginning of Womenโs Month celebration with the theme โBabae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinasโ at the Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) Hall earlier today, March 3.
Mrs. Angelou C. Capili, Human Resource Management Officer (HRMO), deliver a welcome message, highlighting the vital role of women in leadership and decision-making while also emphasizing the need for mutual respect and inclusivity in all spaces.
Subsequently, Dr. Renato E. Martija, Campus Director, share an inspirational message delving into the importance of empowering women and supporting their aspirations.
โTo our real women, believe that your dreams are valid, walang pangarap na masyadong mataas para sa isang pusong puno ng determinasyon,โ Dr. Martija emphasizes.
The event formally concludes with a closing message from Prof. Anna Marie M. Alonzo, GAD Office Head, encouraging everyone to reflect on the significance of the celebration and take action toward lasting change.
Highlight of this month-long celebration is its annual Gender-Responsive Community Extension: Magna Carta Orientation Seminar Cum Livelihood Training to all the NASAKASECO (Nagkaurusa nga Sabangnon Katulingban Service Cooperative) on March 7 at Surf Camp Sabang Daguitan, Dulag, Leyte.
