MikroTik is a Latvian company which was founded in 1996 to develop routers and wireless ISP systems, they provide hardware and software for Internet connectivity in most of the countries globally.

Eastern Visayas State University – Burauen Campus has finally become one of the MikroTik Academies in the Philippines.

Mr. Christopher P. Raga, faculty and Head of Information Technology Department is now a certified MikroTik Academy Trainer and Consultant after successfully completed and passed three (3) MikroTik training courses, and is now recognized as MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate), MTCUME (MikroTik Certified User Manager Engineer), and MTCRE (MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer) last July 30-August 4, 2019 at Eastern Visayas State University – Tanauan Campus, Tanauan, Leyte. The training was conducted by Engr. Roy L. Pamitalan of WIZMASTER MikroTik Training Center.

Being part of the MikroTik Academy allows EVSU – Burauen Campus to offer MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) course for free to university students.
